The Kenworth legend began in Australia in 1964 when Jack Hurley and Alan Brown became Australia’s first Kenworth dealers. PACCAR registered Kenworth Motor Trucks in Australia in 1966. The Victorian Bayswater plant opened in 1970 and a year later, the first Australian built, cab-over Kenworth rolled out of the factory. The 2011 Technical & Maintenance Conference has the backing and participation of Kenworth & DAF dealers and Paccar Australia, and all the people behind them throughout the country. |
Castrol Awards Dinner
Castrol presents the annual Awards Dinner and the Craig Roseneder Award, which is announced on the occasion of the Dinner. The award celebrates the professionalism of the men and women who work behind the scenes in the trucking industry’s workshops. Castrol offers a fantastic prize to the winner – a scholarship to attend the American Trucking Associations’ Maintenance Council meeting, with airfares, accommodation and $1,500 in spending money.
