Craig Roseneder Award

The CRAIG ROSENEDER AWARD for Technical and Maintenance Excellence in the Workshop by an Individual is a prestigious national award, presented at the annual Technical & Maintenance Conference.

The award recognises technical and maintenance excellence in the workshop by an individual.

2008 Winner

Last year, the winner was Tony Rawson, City Fleet Business Manager at the Brisbane City Council. Tony led a team responsible for maintaining up to 4,000 assets, including trucks, light commercial vehicles and heavy tracked equipment.

Since then Tony has been to the US Technical conference in Orlando as part of his prize. He is now working as Fleet Manager to the Sultan of Oman. Tony will share anecdotes from his experiences in an entertaiing session at the 2009 Technical & Maintenance Conference. see the latest program updates.

Candidates should work for a trucking company, supplier or commercial workshop as a workshop manager, mechanic or provide support within the maintenance field for heavy vehicles. They must have a minimum of three years experience in their field and a demonstrated high level of skill and aptitude. They should also be able to demonstrate commitment and dedication to their job and to the Australian trucking industry.
