This year the Conference is a live-in event at the Silverwater Resort, Phillip Island. All conference sessions will be held on site.

Q What is the dress code for the Conference?
What to wear:
- During the conference days, smart casual wear is preferred.
- For the awards dinner – trousers please - no jeans.
Q What is the climate for Phillip Island in November?
The average daily temperature on Phillip Island in November is 19.7 °C (12°C overnight).
Q Can I invite additional guests to the social events?
Yes, additional tickets can be purchased. Please contact the ATA on (02) 6253 6900. Tickets are strictly limited and will be assigned in order of application.
Q Are hotel transfers available?
Complimentary coach transfers will be provided from Melbourne Airport and other Melbourne locations on Sunday morning, with return on Tuesday afternoon. Times will be confirmed on the TMC website: www.ataevents.com.au and by email where applicable.
Q I need to cancel. Is there a cancellation policy?
Any alterations and cancellations to the Conference registrations must be notified in writing to the Australian Trucking Association.
Cancellation fees:
- Cancellations before 15 September will incur a $50 administrative fee.
- No refunds will be given to delegates cancelling after 15 September 2009, but a substitute delegate will be accepted.
Q Can I cancel my accommodation?
Accommodation on-site is a condition of registration. Accommodation must be booked through ATA events. Cancellation conditions are part of the registration cancellation policy.
Q Can I book directly through the resort?
No. Accommodation bookings for the conference must be made through the ATA. All registrations must be made by 11 November 2009.
Q What if I want to stay extra nights? How do I book them?
The registration form allows for bookings from Saturday night 14th November to Tuesday night 17th November. If you want to stay beyond these dates please contact the ATA Events team, ataevents@atatruck.net.au or (02) 6253 6900.
Q What times can I register at the event?
The resort registration desk will be open at the following times. You will be assisted with room check-in as part of your registration process:
- Sunday 15 November 10.00am to 3.00pm.
