Time running out to secure 2010 Australian Trucking Convention early bird discount

Those planning to attend the 2010 Australian Trucking Convention are being urged to make the most of the ATA’s early bird registration offer, which closes this Thursday, 4 February.

During the early bird registration period, delegates will save $100 off the normal registration fee. That means registration before 4 February is just $885 per person.

To save even more money, delegates who introduce a friend to the 2010 Australian Trucking Convention will receive a further $100 discount*, while companies that register three or more delegates can also qualify for an additional discount of $50 per person#.

The 2010 Australian Trucking Convention is the most valuable opportunity for trucking operators, managers, staff and industry suppliers to:

  • get practical information about the business, safety and workforce issues that will affect them in 2010 and beyond;
  • have a say on what the ATA should be doing in the coming 12 months; and
  • experience unique social events, including our fabulous indoor beach party and the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner.

Highlights of the 2010 program include:

  • Lindsay Fox, who will explain his thoughts about the state of the trucking industry, the importance of safety and why trucking companies will have to become greener to win major contracts;
  • Chris Richardson from Access Economics, who will tell delegates how to take advantage of the economic recovery; and
  • Professor Ian Johnston AM, who will inspire delegates think about their safety policies - as well as about what can be done to introduce safety innovations more quickly.

The 2010 Australian Trucking Convention will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 - 10 April.
