Nominations close on 14 September for the 2009 Craig Roseneder Award, which recognises the professionalism of the men and women who work behind the scenes in the trucking industry’s workshops.
The award is open to people who work for a trucking company, supplier or commercial workshop as a workshop manager or mechanic, or who provide support within the maintenance field for heavy vehicles. The judges will be looking for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience and demonstrated high levels of skill and aptitude. They will also be looking for a demonstrated commitment to the job and the Australian trucking industry in general.
The winner of the 2009 Craig Roseneder Award, sponsored by Castrol will receive a scholarship to attend the American Trucking Associations’ Maintenance Council meeting in early 2010 and $1,500 in spending money.

The 2009 winner will be announced at the annual trucking industry Technical and Maintenance Conference. The conference will be held from Sunday 15 to Tuesday 17 November at the Silverwater Resort in San Remo, Victoria.
