A social highlight of the Convention is the traditional Auction Night Dinner, where industry people bid on the little things like memorabilia, and on the big things, such as the Volvo Auction Truck, supplied by our Foundation Sponsor.
The Auction Night Dinner will be on Main Street, Warner Bros. Movieworld. There will be music, good company, food and beverages and a fantastic time for all.
Volvo Trucks Australia will supply an FH13 520 Safety Truck for auction. This sweet machine boasts all the latest active safety features and top of the line European technology. Record prices were paid in recent years and the proceeds have underwritten the ATA’s federal government programs on behalf of industry.

Thermo King will maintain its tradition of offering an aircon unit, complete with special artwork to celebrate the Convention. Thermo King is a generous supporter of the ATA’s travelling exhibition, The Road Ahead. It supplies a top of the line aircon to keep exhibition visitors cool.
There are lots of other items on offer, including some beautifully made, high polished square fuel tanks to suit mainly Western Star, Mack or Freightliner/Sterling style trucks, donated by Holmwood Highgate Engineers.
