Nominations for the 2009 National Trucking Industry Awards are still open. It’s your chance to nominate someone who has contributed to making our industry great.
The Awards ceremony will take place at the ATA Foundation Sponsors Dinner, part of the 2009 Australian Trucking Convention.
The awards recognise excellence in all facets of the industry, including the contribution of operators, drivers, trainers and the National Trucking Industry Woman of the Year Award.
The categories for the 2009 Awards are:
• National Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Australian Trucking Industry
• National Professional Driver of the Year Award
• National Australian Trucking Industry Woman of the Year Award
• Training Excellence Award
In addition to the National Trucking Industry Awards, the Don Watson – ATA in Appreciation Award will be presented to recognise the dedicated efforts of individuals within the broader trucking industry to the activities of the industry network.
The 2009 awards have some fantastic prizes on offer, including three international travel packages.
