Discount Packages

Bring a Friend Deal

Bring a friend to the 2008 Australian Trucking Convention and receive $100.00 discount ($50.00 off both registrations). Conditions of Bring a Friend deal: Friend must not have attended a convention in the last two years (2006, 2007) Bring a Friend registration must accompany your registration.

Group Registration

Register three or more delegates from the same organisation and receive $50.00 off each registration fee. Condition of group discount: Registration forms and payment for the group must be received by the ATA at the same time.

What to wear:

• During the conference days, smart casual wear is preferred.
• For the awards dinner, lounge suit is preferred.

Yes, additional tickets can be purchased. Please contact the ATA on (02) 6253 6900 or alternatively, tickets can be purchased at the event. These tickets are strictly limited and will be assigned in order of application.

Complimentary coach transfers will be provided from Rydges, Saville & Novotel accommodation to the convention centre. All other partner hotels are within walking distance to the convention centre. Transfers are also provided to and from the Auction Night and Awards Gala dinner.

Any alterations and cancellations to the Convention cancellations must be notified in writing to the Australian Trucking Association. All Convention registration cancellations will incur a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be given to delegates cancelling after 9 May 2008, but a substitute delegate will be accepted.

If you wish to cancel your accommodation you must notify the ATA in writing at least five days before the expected check-in date. Failure to arrive on the agreed check in date at either of the conference hotels will see the conference attendee liable for the first night's accommodation costs.

The ATA must provide hotels with your credit card details to secure your booking, however, all convention attendees are responsible for paying their own costs at the point of checkout. Failure to arrive on the agreed check in date at any of the partner hotels will see the convention delegate liable for the first nights accommodation costs.

No. Accommodation bookings for the Convention hotels made more than 14 days before the Convention start date must be made through the ATA. The delegate must contact the hotel directly for any bookings or amendments after 13 May 2008.
