National Professional Driver of the Year

The National Professional Driver of the Year Award recognises the outstanding performance of a professional truck driver, including driving skill, attitude and contribution to industry improvement.

Sponsors: ATA Foundation Sponsors - BP Australia, Volvo Group Australia, National Transport Insurance.

Prize: a one week international travel package for the winner to Sweden, to include an escorted tour of the Volvo truck factory and free time. Return airfares, accommodation, transfers and meals are included in the prize package. The prize must be redeemed by 31 December of the award year, unless alternative arrangements are made with the agreement of the award sponsor. The prize is not transferable. In addition, the award winner will receive a complimentary day registration for the next Australian Trucking Convention, to attend the convention on the day of the Awards presentation, which includes a complimentary ticket for the individual to attend an Awards Preview Breakfast and the Awards Dinner. Other costs are the responsibility of the winner.
