Through its Logistics Cadetship, TDT Victoria is making a significant impact on the recruitment and training of young people in the transport industry.

Commencing in 2008, the program has worked with more than 50 cadets in metropolitan and regional Victoria and South Australia.

TDT plans to take the program to Western Australia later this year, with a national roll out planned for 2011.

Using a mix of on and off the job training, cadets receive a Certificate IV in Logistics and Supply Chain Principles after their first year, with a Diploma of Logistics after the second year of study.
