Viv has worked in the trucking industry since he was a young man and has been involved in industry associations for many years.
He served as a member of the NSW Road Transport Association Executive for 25 years and served more than 20 years on the Council of Furniture Removers’ Association.
He is the current Executive Director of the Australian Furniture Removers’ Association, a position he agreed to take on for three months over 12 years ago.
Viv has been actively involved in the improvement of the industry through the development of furniture removals training manuals and the establishment of the AFRA Disputes Tribunal.
Viv was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2008 Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
