In his career, which has spanned over five decades, Simon has travelled more than nine million kilometres and has had no heavy vehicle licence infringements.
Simon started driving as a teenager in 1960, overnighting between Sydney and Canberra.
Simon worked for a wide variety of organisations carting freight across the country before he used his vast experience to become an endorsed service provider for the TruckSafe program.
He has recently returned to the road and remains an ambassador for the industry.
