2011
TOM LINDSAY co-founded of one of Australia’s largest refrigerated transport companies. For nearly fifty years, he was its joint managing director and a force for a remarkable company expansion.
He was a player in numerous industry associations and is a member of the Road Transport Hall of Fame.
With more than half a century in the Australian transport industry, he is a legend by any definition.
TERRY and DAPHNE NOLAN own one of Queensland’s largest family-owned and operated road freight businesses.
From its humble beginnings with a horse and cart in the early 1900’s, the company now operates from four depots in the Lockyer Valley in the south-east… and other depots across Australia.
Quality, safety and integrity are the hallmarks of this great Australian trucking business.
2010

PETER ROCKE predicted the boon in containerisation. Working for Mayne Nickless, he expanded the business into Sydney and Brisbane and under his control it became the dominant waterfront carrier in Australia in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
He was appointed as the Chairman of the Port of Melbourne Authority, and was the chairman of Coulson Transport.
Peter received a Decade of Dedication Awardfrom the Prime Minister in 1998.
JIM PEARSON Snr established a trucking business in NSW that was renowned for its professionalism and commitment to moving large quantities of freight between Brisbane and Sydney.
