ROSEHILL GARDENS EVENT CENTRE
The 2012 Australian Trucking Convention will be held at Rosehill Gardens Events Centre (race course), near Parramatta in Sydney.
Wednesday - Golf tournament registrations at 10:00am at St Michael's course in Little Bay. Welcome reception at Parramatta Town hall at 7:00pm.
Thursday - optional Transport Women Australia Breakfast, then sessions from 9:00am, Volvo A Night at the Races Dinner from 7:00pm.
Friday - optional Awards Finalists Breakfast, then sessions from 9:00am, ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner from 7:00pm.
Saturday - no formal sessions, but there will be presentations on trucking issues for people visiting the free exhibition, Trucks on Show.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for the Convention is managed by OzAccom, which is able to offer the best rates of the day subject to availability. Select the 'Accommodation' button.
AWARDS DINNER
7:00pm Friday 18 May, Rosehill Gardens Event Centre. A formal evening – gentlemen to wear lounge suits. The Australian Trucking Association will present national awards on the evening in eight categories:
- Outstanding Contribution to the Australian Trucking Industry
- National Trucking Industry Woman of the Year
- National Professional Driver of the Year
- Training Excellence Award
- Highway Guardian Award
- Don Watson Memorial Award
- Craig Roseneder Award for Technical & Maintenance Excellence
- TruckSafe John Kelly Memorial Award
BREAKFASTS and OTHER MEALS
Breakfasts are not included in registration packages. There are official breakfasts but they are optional events and require separate tickets. Lunches, morning teas and afternoon snacks are included in both Full and Single Day registrations. Only Full Registrations include entry to Volvo’s A Night at the Races auction dinner on Thursday and the Gala Awards Dinner on Friday. Tickets can be purchased.
CANCELLATIONS
Any alterations and cancellations to the conference registrations must be notified in writing to the Australian Trucking Association. Cancellations before 16 April will incur a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given to delegates cancelling after 16 April, but a substitute delegate will be accepted.
COACH TRANSFERS
Complimentary coach transfers will run between the Convention partner hotels for the Golf day, Volvo’s A Night at the Races, the Awards Gala Dinner and Partners Program activities.

GETTING TO ROSEHILL GARDENS EVENT CENTRE
Rosehill Gardens is just off James Ruse Drive from the M4 Motorway. There is free parking onsites. Rosehill train station is only metres from the entrance.

OPTIONAL EVENTS
Full Delegate registrations and Single Day Delegate registrations include lunches, morning teas, afternoon snacks, entry to the exhibition and all advertised program sessions.
Only Full Registrations include entry to Volvo Group Australia's A Night at the Races and the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner (RSVPs required).
